Helen Child Fisbl

Helen Child FISBL has extensive experience in operational and business leadership within educational settings, currently serving as the Operational Services Lead at E-ACT since April 2017, focusing on the enhancement of operational services across the Trust. Additionally, Helen holds roles as Operations Lead and Regional Business Leader at the Institute of School Business Leadership since May 2017, and is a Fellow of the ISBL. Previous positions include Business Director at Thornbury Academy (September 2014 - May 2017), School Business Manager at Farfield Primary School (September 2011 - August 2014), and Assistant Director of Aimhigher West Yorkshire at the University of Huddersfield (March 2004 - September 2011). Helen Child earned a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire between 1985 and 1989, having completed secondary education at Bushey Meads from 1978 to 1983.
