Erik Dunkerley is an experienced Mechanical Testing Engineer at E Ink Corporation since March 2011, where responsibilities include developing a micro capsule structural integrity test and teaching mechanical testing techniques. Prior to this role, Erik served as a Graduate Student and Thermal Mechanical Analysis Lab Supervisor at the University of Massachusetts from October 2007 to May 2011, managing a thermal analysis lab, conducting research on nano clay composites, and performing contracted testing. Additional experience includes a summer internship at DEKA Research & Development, where Erik designed production fixtures and assisted in optimization, and a Laboratory Technician role at Gates Mectrol, focusing on testing and experimentation with thermoplastics. Early experience involved an internship at Nypro supporting injection mold trials and process optimization. Erik holds a Ph.D. in Plastics Engineering, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
