Karl Amundson

Karl Amundson is an accomplished technical manager with extensive experience at E Ink Corporation, where Karl has held the positions of Senior Director and previously Director and Principal Scientist since January 1999. Throughout their career, Karl has demonstrated expertise in managing high-performing teams focused on innovation, development, and troubleshooting within corporate environments. Notably, Karl played a key role in commercializing electrophoretic display technology through their work in experimental investigation and electro-physical modeling. Prior to E Ink, Karl served as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T/Lucent - Bell Laboratories from June 1989 to December 1998, where Karl conducted significant research in polymeric and organic semiconductor materials. Karl holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Physics from the University of Minnesota.
