Alex Baron

Alex Baron currently serves as the Middle School Principal and Director of Academic Strategy at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, overseeing the academic strategy across various campuses. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Math Teacher at South High School within Denver Public Schools, achieving Distinguished ratings for two consecutive years. Alex is also recognized as the Founder and Program Director of the Urban Leaders Fellowship and possesses a PhD in Education Research from the University of Oxford, where a thesis on children's self-regulation development was successfully defended. Additional experience includes roles with the U.S. Department of Education, KIPP DC, the Henry Luce Foundation, and Phillips Exeter Academy, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational excellence and leadership.
