Justin Rydstrom

Justin Rydstrom serves as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School since July 2022, bringing extensive leadership experience in educational institutions. Previously, Justin held the role of Head of School/CEO at IDEA Public Charter School from July 2012 to June 2022 and served as Dean of Students at DC Prep from July 2011 to June 2012. Prior positions include Program Manager for the DC Government Relations Office at the Center for Civic Education, Dean of Students at SEED Public Charter School, and Special Educator at Durham Public Schools. Justin's career in education began as a Social Studies Teacher at Thurgood Marshall Academy and Hollis-Brookline High School. Justin holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Rochester.
