Christopher Shead

Christopher Shead is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in customer operations and finance within the energy sector. Currently serving as Director of Customer Operations at E.ON Next since June 2022, Christopher leads a customer-facing team of approximately 4,000 FTEs, overseeing service delivery to 5.5 million households and around 300,000 small and medium-sized businesses. Prior to this role, Christopher held various leadership positions at npower Business Solutions, where responsibilities included financial planning, reporting, and managing P&L for corporate customers delivering £3 billion in revenue. Previous roles also include Director at JLL, Renewable Investment Director at FIM Services, and Finance Director at E.ON Climate and Renewables. Christopher's educational background includes a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Management Control from Sheffield Hallam University and membership with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
