Rich Welch

Rich Welch has extensive experience in the public health sector, particularly in the City of Wolverhampton Council. Rich has held various roles within the council since 1998, including Head of Partnerships (Public Health), Head of Healthier Place Service, Head of Community Recreation, Acting Head of Parks, Sports Development Manager, and Sports Development Officer. In 2023, they also became a Trustee for the Wolves Foundation.

Rich Welch earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure Management from Birmingham City University from 1993 to 1996. Rich then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wolverhampton, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
