Ben Nathan

Ben Nathan is an experienced professional in energy policy and environmental research, currently serving as the Director of Affordability and Equity at E Source since January 2021, leading a practice focused on energy affordability and equity for utilities. Prior roles include Lead Analyst at E Source, Research Analyst at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and a Science and Technology Policy Research Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy, where partnerships enhanced energy efficiency initiatives. Nathan's experience also encompasses a research stint at the World Bank Group, assessing infrastructure impacts, and roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency, focused on water protection technologies, as well as an internship at National Geographic. Educational credentials include a master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in Geography from The George Washington University.
