Laura Roca-Alonso

Laura Roca-Alonso, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Operating and Business Officer at e-therapeutics PLC since April 2020. Previously, Laura held the position of Director of Business Development at Gyroscope Therapeutics from July 2019 to March 2020, and served in various roles at Silence Therapeutics plc from June 2014 to June 2019, including VP, Head of Corporate Development. Laura began a career in research as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Imperial College London from October 2010 to June 2014, and also completed a visiting research tenure at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in June 2013. Laura's educational background includes an MRes in Biomedicine from UCL and a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
