Thabang Phetla

Thabang Phetla is an experienced executive producer currently with ETV since December 2020, contributing to the local production team. Prior, Phetla served as a commissioning editor at SABC from September 2018 to November 2020, overseeing content creation and delivery within the Factual Unit and assisting in Entertainment and Education sectors. As a co-founder and producer at Fullframe Pictures from March 2015 to September 2019, Phetla directed and edited documentaries and web series. Additional experience includes managing productions at NEMISA from September 2010 to August 2018, directing at Skyward Media in January 2011, and editing various projects for Dzuguda Productions and Ochre Media. Phetla's educational background includes a Bachelor in Dramatic Arts from Wits University, specializing in television, writing, and film studies.
