Dr. David B. Harvey

Dr. David B. Harvey serves as the Chief Technology Officer at e-Zinc since May 2025, previously holding the same position at AFC Energy plc from May 2021 to April 2025. Dr. Harvey's expertise in fuel cell technology was further demonstrated as the Head of Fuel Cell Stack & System at FCP Fuel Cell Powertrain GmbH from March 2018 to May 2021, and as a Guest Scientist at Technische Universität Chemnitz during the same period. Additional experience includes engineering leadership roles at Genesis Robotics and Axine Water Technologies, where Dr. Harvey managed core teams focused on electrochemical systems and secured substantial project funding for innovative research. Dr. Harvey's earlier tenure as a Senior Research Engineer at Ballard Power Systems involved multi-disciplinary R&D initiatives in membrane electrode assemblies and cell design. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University.
