Mohammad Altamash Jauhar, PhD has had a varied and impressive career. Mohammad Altamash began their professional experience in 2011 as a Process Engineer at Tata Chemicals, where they learned the HSE and HAZOP procedures to comply with safety standards, studied the functioning of fertilizers cooperatives, and assisted the plant supervisor in day-to-day operations. In 2012, they moved to the University of Waterloo as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant. Mohammad Altamash then became a Research Engineer at ADNOC Group in 2014. In 2015, they returned to the University of Waterloo as a Doctoral Researcher and Project Manager, as well as a Teaching Assistant and Research Scholar. In 2021, they joined the National Research Council Canada as a Research Associate and Scientist in Electrochemical Components and Systems Engineering. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Battery Development and Test Engineer at e-Zinc.

Mohammad Altamash Jauhar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which they completed in 2020. Mohammad Altamash also has a Masters of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2014. Mohammad Altamash's undergraduate studies were completed at the Aligarh Muslim University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering in 2012. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications from LinkedIn, including Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma: Analyze, Improve, and Control Tools, Lean Six Sigma: Define and Measure Tools, Operational Excellence Foundations, Operational Excellence Work-Out and Kaizen Facilitator, Six Sigma Foundations, Six Sigma: Green Belt, and Statistics Foundations: 2, all obtained in 2020.
