Jonathan Blair

Jonathan Blair, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting, utility management, and military leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Managing Consultant at Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. since August 2023, Jonathan previously held the position of General Manager at Ipswich Utilities from May 2016 to August 2023, overseeing the procurement and delivery of over 100,000MWh of electricity to more than 7,000 customers while managing a diverse team and significant budget. Jonathan's academic background includes an MBA with a focus on Sustainability from Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University. Prior to consultancy and utility management, Jonathan served as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at Boston University and as a Naval Submarine Officer in the US Navy, where leadership and strategic execution were central to operations. Jonathan also briefly managed a branch at Rockport National Bank in 2007.
