Dr. Deepika Mohan, BHMS, CCS, COC

Dr. Deepika Mohan has worked in various roles related to medical coding and provider education. Dr. Deepika started their career in 2011 as a Medical Analyst at Medusind Solutions, where they worked until July 2012. In August 2012, they joined Dell International Services India Pvt Ltd as a Medical Coder and worked there until August 2013. Following that, they worked as a Medical Coder at e4e Healthcare Business Services from August 2013 to February 2015.

In 2015, Dr. Mohan joined e4 Services as an Allscripts Trainer & Medical Coding Auditor. Dr. Deepika later moved to Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in August 2015, where they worked as an EMR trainer and Medical coder. In August 2016, they became the Associate Director for Provider Education at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals.

In January 2018, they joined Sutter Health as a Provider Educator, where they worked until August 2018. Throughout their career, Dr. Mohan has gained experience in medical coding, electronic medical record (EMR) training, and provider education.

Dr. Deepika Mohan earned a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S) degree in Homoeopathic Medicine from medical jobs updates, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Leo Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1994 to 2005, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Mohan has obtained several certifications. Dr. Deepika achieved an ICD-10 Certification from the AAPC in April 2015 and became a Certified Professional Coder (CPC-H) from the AAPC in January 2014.
