Dr. Bernadette Mutinda PhD serves as the Country Manager at E4Impact Foundation since January 2020, where strategic leadership, fundraising, and program development are key responsibilities. Prior to this role, Dr. Mutinda was the Deputy Area Manager for East Africa, overseeing E4Impact programs across multiple countries and engaging in donor relations. A well-rounded professional in capacity development, Dr. Mutinda has held various academic and managerial positions, including Head of Executive Capacity Development Programmes at The Management University of Africa and coordinator roles at The Kenya Institute of Management. Dr. Mutinda holds a PhD in Business Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, an MBA from the University of Nairobi, a Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Arts from Kenyatta University.

E4Impact Foundation
In 2015, E4Impact became a Foundation with the support of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Securfin, Mapei, Salini-Impregilo and Always Africa Association. Later, Bracco, Eni, Lisa s.p.a., Banca Intesa Sanpaolo and Ge.Fi. joined E4Impact as Corporate Participants and Marco Bartolomei and Michele Carpinelli as Individual Participants. The Foundation is open to involve new Corporate and Individual Participants interested in taking an active role in perceiving the mission of the institution in the African scenario. The work of the Foundation contributes to the accomplishment of many of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Goals, including access to quality education, decent work, economic growth and poverty and hunger reduction The heart of E4impact is the Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship, a unique Executive MBA which provides would-be, early stage and high growth entrepreneurs with results-oriented education and interaction with the local business community and potential investors. Participants acquire knowledge and skills useful for starting or scaling a business and for contributing to the sustainable development of their countries. The MBA is today offered in 9 countries, in partnership with local universities: 1. Kenya 2. Ghana 3. Uganda 4. Ivory Coast 5. Sierra Leone 6. Senegal 7. Ethiopia 8. Sudan 9. Zimbabwe E4impact also supports the expansion of SMEs into Africa. By matching them with reliable local entrepreneurs, E4impact offers small businesses a low cost, low risk opportunity to enter the fast growing countries where the MBA is offered.
