Chris Small Pe

Chris Small, PE, is a Coastal Engineer with a strong background in ocean engineering and hydrodynamics. Currently employed at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC since May 2020, Chris led field sampling for elevation and shoreline change data and assisted with sensor deployments in Point Hope, AK. Previously, Chris worked at AECOM as a Water/Coastal Engineer, focusing on modeling the impacts of combined sewer overflow discharges in San Francisco Bay. Chris gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, developing an ADCIRC computational grid to assess tidal energy potential. Additionally, Chris served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, and has prior experience as wait staff and a lifeguard, emphasizing communication and safety skills. Chris holds a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
