Nevine Sultan, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, RYT, is a seasoned professional in somatic psychotherapy, with an extensive background as an educator, researcher, author, and consultant. Since November 2014, Nevine Sultan has operated Nevine Sultan, PLLC. Nevine Sultan served as a Tenured Associate Professor and Program Director of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of St. Thomas-Houston from August 2015 to May 2022. Active in professional organizations, Nevine Sultan is a member of the Collaborative Practice Research Network (CPRN) at the EABP European Association for Body Psychotherapy and was previously a member of the Research Committee at the USABP United States Association for Body Psychotherapy. Nevine Sultan's clinical experience includes roles as a counselor at various organizations, including The Rape Crisis Center and The Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas. Nevine Sultan holds both a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision with a concentration in Somatics, both from St. Mary's University.
