Rick Ness

Rick Ness has had extensive experience in various technology leadership roles. Rick started their career at Thomson Reuters in 2005, where they served as the Director of Legal International Technology. During this time, they successfully created and formed a new organization and led teams across the full software development lifecycle. In 2009, they were appointed as the Chief Technology Officer for Australia and New Zealand, where they rebuilt and managed a fragmented technology team. Rick also played a key role in the development of flagship online applications in the legal and tax & accounting markets. After leaving Thomson Reuters, Rick joined Navitor Inc. as the Vice President of Technology and Operations, where they led the customer-facing technology and managed a larger technology organization. Rick then worked as an Independent Consultant at Aeritae, where they assessed and recommended improvements to Enterprise Architecture for Xcel Energy. Currently, Rick is the Technology Director at Eagle Brook Church, overseeing technology development and support.

Rick Ness has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Additionally, they have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a focus on Taxation and Intellectual Property Law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
