J. R. Kane has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. J. R. started their career in 2002 as a Sales Representative at Austin Powder Company, where they worked until 2007. Following this, they joined Southern Land Company as an Assistant Superintendent from December 2007 to January 2009. In 2009, J. R. Kane joined Eagle Fire Inc. and took on various roles within the company, starting as a Technical Sales Representative from January 2009 to February 2013. J. R. then progressed to become the Southeast Area Manager from February 2013 to January 2015, and subsequently served as the Southeast Regional Manager from January 2015 to April 2023. Currently, J. R. Kane holds the position of Vice President - Operations at Eagle Fire Inc. starting from April 2023.
J. R. Kane obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, J. R. Kane has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) through the NFPA. In 2017, they completed the Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie. In 2016, J. R. Kane obtained the Water-Based Systems Layout - III (CET) certification from NICET, and in 2010, they obtained the Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems - III (CET) certification, also from NICET.
