Steven Benza has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steven started their career as a Pro-Shop and Snack Bar Staff member at Renee Powell Golf Professional, where they were later promoted to Closer. Steven then worked as a Kitchen Steward at the Sigma Chi Fraternity for five consecutive semesters. In 1995, they joined Logan Consulting, where they held the positions of Project Manager, Business Analyst, Financial Lead, and Business Manager until 2004. From 2004 to 2016, they worked at Michael Benza & Associates, Inc. as a Business Manager, Project Manager, and Special Projects/Improvements Leader. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) and Research Team Member at Cleveland Clinic. Currently, they are working at Eagle Foods as a Sr. Business Analyst, a position they have held since 2020.

Steven Benza has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance/Management & Strategy, Entrepreneurship from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Steven also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management and Computer Science, Business Administration Management from Purdue University Daniels School of Business. In addition, they have obtained a certificate in Introduction into Six Sigma and Spanish in the workplace from Cuyahoga Community College. Moreover, they have a Certificate of Course Completion in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) and Federal Emergency Certifications from Cuyahoga Community College.

Furthermore, Steven has obtained several additional certifications. Steven holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification and a Project Manager Essentials Certification from Management and Strategy Institute, both obtained in August 2019. Steven is also certified in BLS/CPR/AED/FIRST AID by the American Heart Association, obtained in December 2016. Currently, they are in the process of obtaining a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from the Management and Strategy Institute.
