Jacklyn Lenten

Jacklyn Lenten is an experienced environmental professional currently working as a Water Treatment Technician at Eagle Mine since January 2022, where responsibilities include monitoring wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Concurrently, Jacklyn serves on the Board of Directors for the Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve, advocating for the preservation of the Yellow Dog Watershed. Previous experience includes working as an Aquatic Resources Field Technician with Michigan Trout Unlimited, where water quality was analyzed in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and a Field Technician on the Isle Royale Wolf-Moose Project, conducting vegetation surveys. Earlier roles also include managing native plant restoration projects at Northern Michigan University’s Department of EEGS. Jacklyn holds a degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Natural Resources and a minor in Environmental Justice and Advocacy from Northern Michigan University.
