Ayesha Rashid M.D.

Ayesha Rashid MD, FACP, FIDSA, ACHIP is a distinguished Infectious Disease Physician with a wealth of experience in clinical practice and research. Currently serving at Allina Health and St. Paul Infectious Disease Associates since October 2011, Ayesha holds the position of Medical Director of Infectious Disease at United Hospital and contributes as a Sub-Investigator in clinical research. Ayesha has provided expert guidance to the Infectious Diseases Society of America and has chaired the Minnesota Hospital Association’s HAI Reduction committee. Ayesha’s extensive education includes a fellowship in Infectious Disease from the University of Minnesota and an MD from Aga Khan University, alongside various leadership roles in antimicrobial stewardship and telehealth initiatives.
