Darrin Carlson has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Darrin began their career at Hawker Beechcraft Corporation in 1996, where they worked as a Sheet Metal Assembler and later as an Aircraft/Avionics Technician in the Demonstration & Transportation Department. In 2008, they joined Beechcraft as a Service/Field Engineer in the Light Jet Product Support division, where they were responsible for monitoring aircraft reports, leading projects, and providing technical advice. Since 2015, Carlson has been working at EagleMed LLC as Chief Inspector, overseeing maintenance inspection programs and monitoring aircraft requirements for accreditation.
Darrin Carlson pursued their Associate Degree with A&P Certificate at Kansas State University from 1988 to 1991. In addition, they completed the Boeing 737 Line Maintenance Training at America West Airlines. Furthermore, they received Garmin G1000 Flight Line Maintenance Training at Garmin International. It is not specified when they attended Flight Safety International or the duration of their studies there.
