Chris Nixon

Director, Student Services & Safeguarding at West London College

Chris Nixon began his career in education as a teaching assistant and has worked at all levels of student support, with experience in careers, safeguarding, and additional learning support for students with SEND being a focus. Since 2018 he has been senior leadership lead over student services at colleges in the Midlands and now West London College, ensuring the wellbeing and success of learners is at the heart of everything the college undertakes. Chris has a passion for theatre and the arts, and his team works together to open up opportunities for students to bring their own skills and experiences into the college community so that everyone at WLC can be included and enriched by their peers.
