Soeren Montag

Soeren Montag has a diverse background in various leadership roles. Soeren is currently serving as the Managing Director of EAO since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at HARTING Singapore Pte Ltd from January 2009 to December 2021. Before that, they worked at Hirschmann Automation & Control Inc., where they held the roles of Director Sales & Marketing (Americas) from December 2004 to January 2009 and International Sales Manager South-East Asia from February 2003 to December 2004. Soeren also gained valuable experience through the International Management Program at Rheinmetall Group, where they served as a Project Manager from June 2001 to January 2003, working on various projects in different business units, including Electronics, Defense, and Automotive.

Soeren Montag attended Leuphana University of Lüneburg from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained an MBA degree. During their studies, they focused on various fields of study including strategic management, international management, industrial marketing & sales, and technology management. In 1998 to 1999, they had the opportunity to study at Örebro University in Sweden through the Socrates/Erasmus Scholarship. There, they further explored industrial engineering, technology management, sales & marketing, and international business.
