Adam Hutchinson

Director of Athletics at Earlham College

Adam Hutchinson currently serves as the Senior Director of Athletics at Earlham College since June 2021. Prior to this role, Adam held the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations and Student Athlete Development at Kean University from October 2018 to June 2021, where responsibilities included promoting diversity and inclusion and leading student voter registration efforts. Adam's coaching experience is extensive, with past roles as Head Men's Basketball Coach at Washington and Lee University, Case Western Reserve University, and Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Amherst College and Emory University. Adam is also the Director and Founder of Hutchinson Camps, significantly increasing participation and revenue during tenure. Academically, Adam has advanced knowledge in diversity and inclusion, holding a certificate from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Adam completed a Bachelor of Arts in African-American/Black Studies at Amherst College.
