Elina Thomas, PhD, is an accomplished neuroscientist currently serving as Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Earlham College since July 2022. Prior to this role, Elina held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Neuroscience and worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Vermont from March 2021 to August 2022. Elina's doctoral studies were completed at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, where a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience was obtained in 2021, following a Master's degree in Physiology from North Carolina State University. Elina also contributed to undergraduate education by designing and teaching Advanced Neurophysiology at Portland State University. Additional experience includes positions as Lab Coordinator in the Behavioral Neuroscience Lab at the UNC Psychology Department and as Lab Technician in the Neurochemistry Lab at North Carolina State University. Elina Thomas holds a BA in Psychology from North Carolina State University as well.
