Siobhan Dorai-Raj is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Currently serving as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor at the John Innes Centre since January 2022, Siobhan previously held the role of Athena Swan and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Project Coordinator at the University of East Anglia from September 2018 to December 2021. Prior to this, from January 2015 to September 2018, Siobhan was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the John Innes Centre. Siobhan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Molecular Microbiology, a Master’s Degree in Molecular Microbiology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, all earned from the University of Galway between 1994 and 2008.
