Asterios Toutios

Asterios Toutios is an experienced data scientist currently employed at EarliTec Diagnostics Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Asterios served as a data scientist at Sanas from May 2022 to December 2022 and worked as a senior AI scientist at Coretas from March 2022 to May 2022. Asterios also held academic positions at the University of Southern California from June 2012 to June 2021, where responsibilities included serving as an assistant research professor of electrical and computer engineering and as a research associate. Earlier roles included postdoctoral research associate positions at Télécom Paris and Loria between 2011 and 2011. Asterios holds a PhD in Applied Informatics and an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Macedonia, completed from 2000 to 2007, as well as a Diploma/MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, obtained between 1994 and 1999. Additional education includes a MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science from MITx, completed from 2020 to 2022.
