Emma Lounsbury

Center Manager at Early Learning Essentials

Emma Lounsbury currently serves as the Center Manager at Mountainland Head Start, Inc. since September 2018, previously holding the position of Teacher Assistant. Emma's experience in education includes roles as a Classroom Tutor for Alpine School District, where instruction spanned music classes for grades 1-4 and general support for K-6 students. As the 4-H Mentoring Site Coordinator with Utah State University Extension, Emma managed over 75 families and mentors and organized events for more than 150 participants. Emma has also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at Brigham Young University - Idaho, focusing on Child Development classes, and as a Customer Service Representative at Sage Pest Control, achieving high customer retention and sales. Emma holds a B.S. in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho and is pursuing a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Early Learning Essentials (also Known as Mountainland Head Start) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution. We are recipients of a Federal grant to offer high-quality Kindergarten readiness pre-school program to low-income children and children with disabilities. We partner with parents to assist children develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in school. We provide quality early education to all children enrolled as well as comprehensive child and family development services.
