Niranjan Shetty

Niranjan Shetty has an extensive work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Niranjan is currently working as a Senior Director of Data Science at Early Warning® since 2023. Before that, they worked at Chime as a Manager of Data Science and Machine Learning from 2021 to 2023, and as a Lead Data Scientist from 2020 to 2021. Prior to their role at Chime, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at Pinterest from 2018 to 2020, and as a Data Scientist at Thumbtack from 2015 to 2018. Niranjan also worked at Nomis Solutions as a Principal Data Scientist from 2010 to 2015, and at FICO as an Analytical Sciences Scientist from 2007 to 2010. Niranjan's career started at Broadcom where they worked as an intern in engineering, where they assisted in the development and testing of a speech packet loss concealment algorithm.

Niranjan Shetty obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara from 2002 to 2007. Niranjan also earned a Graduate Certificate in Technology Management from UC Santa Barbara between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara from 2002 to 2004. Niranjan started their educational journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 1998 to 2002.
