Farzona Pulatova has a diverse range of work experience spanning various leadership roles in engineering and technology. Farzona currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Earnest since 2023. Previously, they worked at SheTO as a Leadership Coach/Career Mentor, providing guidance and coaching to women and non-binary engineering leaders. Farzona also worked at MasterClass as the Senior Director of Engineering - Consumer Product, where they oversaw the consumer product organization and doubled its size within the first year. Additionally, they co-founded the Women ERG at MasterClass and served as its Chair. Before that, they were an Engineering Leader at Uber, responsible for the delivery experience of Uber Eats. Farzona also co-led the Women in Engineering ERG at Uber. Their earlier experiences include working at Twitter as the Head of Experimentation Platform, Engineering and at Orbitz Worldwide as a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering. Farzona started their career at National Instruments as a Staff Software Engineer, eventually transitioning to the role of Senior Software Engineer. Farzona's education includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Innovative Computing Laboratory, University of Tennessee, and a Software Developer Internship at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
Farzona Pulatova obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between 2001 and 2004. Farzona then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2005 to 2006.
