Leanne Loveday-Smith

Leanne Loveday-Smith, SPHR, M.S. has a wealth of experience in Human Resources. Leanne began their career in 2004 as Senior Manager Human Resources at Appian Corporation. In 2010, they joined Acumen LLC as Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development and Manager, Human Resources. In 2016, Leanne moved to Mixpanel as Head of People & Culture and Senior Global HR Business Partner. In 2020, they were appointed VP, People at Oura. In 2023, Leanne began their current role as Chief People Officer at Earnest. Additionally, they have provided strategic HR consulting services on a variety of projects for nonprofit organizations throughout the Bay area as a Human Resources Strategy Consultant (Pro Bono) for Taproot Foundation since 2010.

Leanne Loveday-Smith obtained their Bachelor of Science in Management and Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2003. Leanne then went on to pursue their Master of Science in Organizational Development/HR Management at the same university, which they completed in 2008. Before that, they attended Greenside High School. In 2013, Leanne obtained their SPHR certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
