Manish Amde

Manish Amde has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Manish is currently the Vice President of AI & Data at EarnIn since February 2023. Prior to this, Manish worked at Intuit from June 2019 to February 2023 as the Director of Engineering for AI + Data, leading a new initiative to transform the company into an AI-driven expert platform. Before Intuit, Manish held multiple roles at Origami Logic from November 2017 to May 2019, including VP Engineering and Director of Engineering. At Origami Logic, they led the development of a marketing analytics platform and managed analytics and machine learning divisions. Manish also contributed to the Apache Spark project as a Spark Contributor from August 2013 to August 2015. Before that, they worked at ASSIA, Inc. as a Staff Engineer from March 2010 to December 2012, focusing on optimizing broadband DSL connections. Manish also has experience as the CTO and Co-founder of Yuni Systems, where they designed a multi-user architecture for chip prototyping, and as a Consultant and Summer Intern at Tachyon Networks, where they improved the spectral efficiency of a satellite communication system. Manish started their career as an Associate Development Engineer at the California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology and also worked as a Summer Intern at Politecnico di Torino.

Manish Amde pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Manish first attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a B-Tech degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they joined UC San Diego in 2003 and completed their MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2005. Manish continued their studies at UC San Diego and successfully obtained a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2009.
