Ricardo Avila Herrera

Ricardo Avila Herrera is an experienced Business Operations Manager at EarnUp since October 2019, previously holding various roles such as Manager of Money Operations and Supervisor. Prior to EarnUp, Ricardo worked at Western Union from 2003 to October 2019, where responsibilities included serving as Supervisor, Commission System Liaison, Reporting and Analysis Specialist, and Customer Service Representative. Ricardo has managed numerous projects over the last three years, focusing on process improvement, automation initiatives, and IT implementations, and has worked on a global data warehouse project for comprehensive reporting. Ricardo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica, completed in 2018, and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality, obtained in 2011.
