Genevieve Patenaude, PhD (Oxon) is the CEO of Earth Blox, a SaaS company that allows users to create their own satellite-based intelligence solutions. Genevieve also serves as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Edinburgh, where Genevieve focuses on interdisciplinary research using Earth Observation. In addition, Genevieve has experience as a Royal Society of Edinburgh Enterprise Fellow, Founding Director at Carbomap, a Consultant at UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, and a Contributing Author at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Genevieve holds a PhD in Carbon Management in Forest Ecosystems from the University of Oxford, as well as an MBA and other degrees in Environmental Sciences and Remote Sensing.
