David Phillips is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental conservation and wildlife protection. With a background in biology from Colorado College, David has served as Director of Wildlife Programs at Friends of the Earth before joining Earth Island Institute. At Earth Island Institute, David currently holds the title of Director of the International Marine Mammal Project and has also served as the Executive Director.
