Viraj Sikand

Viraj Sikand is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in environmental sustainability and data analytics. As Co-Founder and CEO of EarthAcre since April 2021, Viraj focuses on generating carbon and biodiversity revenue streams for indigenous and rural landowners through advanced spatial technologies. Previously, Viraj served as a member of the President's Leadership Council at Brown University, collaborating on key strategic initiatives. At Optoro, from September 2018 to March 2021, Viraj led data initiatives as Program Manager and contributed to product development as an Associate Product Manager. As Co-Founder of Kulisha, from May 2015 to June 2018, Viraj successfully repurposed food waste into high-value insect protein, securing $250,000 in competition funding. Additionally, Viraj was recognized as a Scholar by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation for leadership in the environmental movement. Educational background includes a Master in Public Policy and Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Brown University.
