Ada Waelder

Ada Waelder is a skilled policy advocate with extensive experience in legislative roles and environmental issues. Currently serving as a California Policy Advocate at Earthjustice since January 2025, Ada previously held the positions of Legislative Advocate and Legislative Analyst at the California State Association of Counties® from January 2020 to January 2025. Ada's background includes working as a Professional Staff Member and Research Analyst for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources from March 2017 to July 2019, as well as serving as a Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant in the United States Senate from June 2014 to March 2017. Ada began the career as a Field Director for Laura Ruderman for Congress in the summer of 2012. Ada Waelder is an alumnus of the University of Washington.
