Robert Rigonan is an Associate Attorney at EARTHJUSTICE. Robert was previously an Associate Attorney at The Wilderness Society from July 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Judicial Law Clerk at the Colorado Judicial Branch from June 2018 to July 2019, and a Legal Intern at the Environmental Defense Fund from January 2018 to April 2018. Robert also served as a Law Clerk at the US Environmental Protection Agency from August 2017 to November 2017, and as a Legal Intern at the Natural Resources Defense Council from May 2017 to August 2017. Additionally, they were a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Rebecca R. Freyre at the Colorado Court of Appeals from January 2017 to April 2017, and a Research Fellow at the Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law from May 2016 to May 2017. Robert also interned at the Colorado State Public Defender from May 2016 to August 2016, and taught at the Clark County School District from August 2012 to June 2015.
Robert Rigonan received their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Colorado. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Society and Environment, Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
