Senior Associate Attorney at Earthjustice

Tom DeLehanty is an associate attorney at EARTHJUSTICE. Tom has worked for a variety of organizations dedicated to protecting the environment, including Earthjustice, Hamer Environmental, Western Energy Project, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor, and Grand Teton National Park. Tom's passion for environmental justice began when they were a child growing up in the suburbs of Chicago. Tom would often go on hikes with their family and explore the woods near their home. As they got older, they realized that there were many people who did not have access to clean air and water and that some animals were being threatened with extinction. This led him to pursue a career in environmental law. Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana and a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School.

Tom DeLehanty's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bowdoin College and a Juris Doctor in Environmental Law from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law.
