Ignacio del Valle Alles 🇺🇦

Ignacio del Valle Alles has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ignacio is currently the Founder & CTO of BatchX since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Earthly Technologies starting in November 2022.

Ignacio has also contributed to open-source projects as an Open Source Developer at brutusin.org since January 2015. Ignacio was a Lead Principal Software Engineer at ShiftLeft from July 2017 to January 2020, where they led teams in creating Java, Scala, and JS agents for the Shiftleft Protect product. Ignacio also created and published the "bctrace" framework for high-performance Java agents.

Before that, Ignacio was a Technical Advisor and later the Chief Software Architect at DREAMgenics from January 2012 to July 2017. Ignacio played a key role in the creation of infrastructure and software layers for the company.

Additionally, Ignacio has served as a Mentor for the course "Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: Nand to Tetris Part II" at Coursera in July and September 2017. Ignacio has also worked as a Software Architect at Capgemini from August 2005 to December 2011, where they designed and implemented internal systems and tools to enhance developer productivity.

Earlier in their career, Ignacio worked as a Software Programmer at Coritel from January to November 2004. Ignacio also held research positions at Universidad de Oviedo, both as a Graduate Research Fellow and Undergraduate Research Fellow.

Prior to their career in technology, Ignacio worked as a Commercial Diver at Saneamientos Marítimos S.A. in 2003.

Ignacio del Valle Alles 🇺🇦 completed their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2002 at Universidad de Oviedo, where they earned a Master of Science in Physics. Following their formal education, Ignacio pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In November 2004, they obtained the Sun Microsystems certification for SCJP. Later, in October 2010, they achieved the SCJD/OCMJD certification from Oracle. In December 2011, Ignacio obtained the SCEA/OCMJEA certification, also from Oracle. Additionally, Ignacio completed several online courses, including "Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris (Project-Centered Course)" by Hebrew University of Jerusalem in June 2016, "Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris Part II (Project-Centered Course)" by Hebrew University of Jerusalem in March 2017, and the "Coursera Mentor Community and Training Course" from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2017.
