Beatrix Arendt

Beatrix Arendt has a diverse range of work experiences spanning various industries and roles. Beatrix started their career as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University, teaching undergraduate courses in sociology and anthropology. Beatrix also worked as a Lab Supervisor for the Veterans Curation Program at John Milner Associates, where they established a new archaeological lab space and mentored returning US combat veterans.

Beatrix owns a baking company called Brand-O Foods, where they were responsible for all aspects of the business, including hiring and managing employees, overseeing production, and handling accounting. Beatrix raised capital and successfully sold energy bars both online and in stores.

Beatrix also worked at the Smithsonian Institution as a Research Collaborator, collaborating with museum anthropologists on research projects related to Inuit sites in Labrador, Canada. Beatrix raised and managed grants, organized an archaeology field school for Inuit students, and facilitated community involvement.
