Danielle Watts

Danielle Watts serves as the Data Science Vice President at EarthOptics since September 2024, leading efforts in Data Science, Solutions, Bioinformatics, Agronomy, and Technical Programs following a merger with Pattern Ag. Prior to this role, Danielle held the same title at Pattern Ag from December 2019, focusing on the development of soil metagenomic insights for sustainable agriculture. Previous experience includes serving as VP of Data Science at Arable Labs, Inc., where Danielle specialized in data pipeline tools and analytics, and as a consultant and data scientist at Edyn, working on IoT garden sensors. Academic experience includes a visiting lecturer position at UC Berkeley and a National Research Fellow role, alongside a PhD in Interdisciplinary Ecology, an MS in Wetland Ecology, and a BS in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida. Early career involvement includes agroforestry work with the Peace Corps and research assistant roles in ecology laboratories.
