Michael Hubenthal

Michael Hubenthal serves as Program Manager at EarthScope Consortium since January 2023. Previously, Hubenthal has experience as an Adjunct Lecturer at Binghamton University, where responsibilities included developing and teaching graduate courses in Curriculum & Teaching in Science and mentoring graduate students. Hubenthal's extensive career at the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology spanned from 2002 to December 2022, holding positions such as Interim Director of Education and Public Outreach and Senior Science Education Specialist, focusing on geoscience education programs. Earlier roles included Educational Specialist at NASA, where contributions involved developing national education plans and partnerships for Earth Science education, and teaching Earth Science and Physics in secondary schools.
