Project Lead - Nature Based Carbon Project Origination at Earthshot Labs

Roberto Cornejo Crosby has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Project Lead for Nature Based Carbon Project Origination at Earthshot Labs since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at WSP in Peru starting in 2019, where they developed new sustainability advisory services and served as a Key Account Manager for environmental consultancies. Roberto was also the Country Leader for the "Future Ready" program, focused on designing advisory services to help clients and communities adapt to the future.

Before WSP, Roberto was the Sustainable Value Chain Coordinator at Grupo Palmas from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they implemented and reported on business strategic plans, managed alliances with external organizations, and led communication strategies for various stakeholders, all while coordinating a sustainable palm oil business program.

Roberto also gained valuable experience as a Consultant at Sustainable Development Projects during their freelance work from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they were a Customer Financing Intern at IBM in 2013 and a Marketing and Communications Consultant at iSur from 2010 to 2012, where they worked on a sustainable development project in the Peruvian Amazon.

Roberto Cornejo Crosby has an extensive education history. In 2015, they attended Columbia University and completed a Master of Science in Sustainability Management. Then, in 2022, they took a Tropical Forest Restoration & Agroforestry Course at the Yale School of the Environment.

Roberto started their education journey earlier, as they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, which they attended from 2008 to 2013.

Additionally, Roberto pursued further education in specific areas of interest. In 2014, they studied Online Marketing at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, and in 2012, they acquired unspecified knowledge and experience at the BSP - Business School São Paulo.

In addition to their formal education, Roberto has also obtained certification in the GRI G4 Certified Sustainability Reporting Course administered by the ISOS Center for Social Responsibility in New York City, although the exact completion date is not specified.
