EASA Applied Anthropology Network
Olivia Schneider serves as the Network Convenor for EASA Applied Anthropology Network since June 2023, where responsibilities include communication management, process streamlining, and fostering an inclusive organizational culture. Olivia has been involved in online event facilitation and training program design at Milenu since October 2020, creating productive event environments and developing training for non-profit staff. As Conference Organiser for Gesellschaft für Sexarbeits- und Prostitutionsforschung from February 2023 to December 2023, Olivia contributed to interdisciplinary research on sex work. In leadership roles for Sosialantropologisk Programutvalg from September 2021 to December 2023, Olivia has ensured student representation and communication with staff. Prior experience includes project management with HeForOlivia Vienna, project coordination at CEURABICS, and assistance at Children's University Vienna. Olivia is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Oslo, having previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Vienna.

The Applied Anthropology Network of the European Association of Social Anthropologists is the main European platform dedicated to the exchange of information and experiences related to practical applications of anthropology and ethnography.
