Sylvia Eastman

Sylvia Eastman has a diverse range of work experience in writing, editing, and instructional design. Sylvia is the owner of the website notnotnutritious.com, where they write and edits blog posts, manages the WordPress site, and develops recipes. Prior to this, Sylvia worked as a freelance writer and editor, providing writing and editing services for various clients. Sylvia also worked as a writer, editor, and lead instructional designer for eLearning innovation projects, collaborating with stakeholders to develop learning outcomes and course content. Sylvia has experience in technical writing and instructional design, having worked as a senior technical writer, instructional designer, and trainer for Vision Critical and as an instructional designer for Blackboard/WebCT. In their role at WebCT, they managed the release of software documentation, developed editorial policies and procedures, and created on-boarding material for new team members.

Sylvia Eastman completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Carleton University, which they attended from 1981 to 1986. Later, from 2001 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing (Screenwriting, Non Fiction) at The University of British Columbia.
