Paul Glagola

Paul Glagola is responsible for all aspects of Thrive’s vCIO practice in the Mid-Atlantic region. Paul has over 20 years of experience in MSP and vCIO Services. Paul oversees the vCIO team responsible for building long-term trusted relationships with Thrive’s clients. In his current role, Paul is responsible for ensuring that his team provides strategic, technical, and security advisory services that align with each client’s organizational vision.

Prior to Thrive, Paul spent 4 years with Howard Tech Advisors as the Director of Client Services and spent almost 18 years with a lower-middle market private equity firm as the Vice President of Technology. Paul led vCIO services for a wide range of clients in the private equity portfolio. Earlier in his career, Paul worked for Unisys Corporation as a financial services consultant. Paul also spent 7 years as an assistant football coach at the University of Virginia and serves on the Board of the Baltimore Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

Paul earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Robert H. Smith School at the University of Maryland.
