Kristie Bleers

Kristie Bleers is an experienced educator with a strong background in reading and literacy. Currently serving as an Instructional Coach at East Aurora School District 131 since July 2019, Kristie supports teachers in achieving their instructional goals through the Student-Centered Coaching model. Previously, Kristie held various positions within the same district, including RtI Facilitator, where support for interventionists and evaluation of student progress were key responsibilities, and Reading Specialist, providing targeted instruction and intervention across grade levels. Kristie’s earlier experience includes roles as a Reading Specialist and Teacher in multiple school districts, emphasizing data-driven instruction and collaboration with educational professionals. Kristie holds a Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy from Lewis University and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University.
